Head of Talent

Job description

In order to support the exponential growth ahead of us, we are looking to add a Head of Talent, who will be able to expand the winning team behind one of the leading software companies in Europe, backed by the number one VC fund in Spain according to Dealroom.

The Head of Talent will develop and uphold Nextail’s human resources capabilities by planning, developing and implementing the best people practices:

  • Recruit and onboard new hires: our +50 team members come from top retail companies, innovative technology players, leading strategic consultancies… but we are always looking for new talent as we aim to double our team size in the next 18 months. Challenge accepted.

  • Encourage and promote the team’s high spirit and culture: keeping members together in a collaborative and innovative way will be crucial as the team grows.

  • Promote talent development initiatives and foster employee wellness programs.

  • Become a key ambassador of our team values.

The Head of Talent will be at the core of Nextail working closely with all teams, reporting directly to the executive team.

The role is based out of our headquarters in sunny Madrid.

You bring

  • You are passionate about people’s backgrounds and want to be part of their next story.

  • You have at least 4 years of HR experience, ideally within technological or startup environments.

  • Exposure to both talent acquisition and team development.

  • You are able to create and encourage an entrepreneurial and teamwork environment.

  • Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • You are a doer, with a work hard/play hard mentality.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
