In order to support the rapid growth ahead of us, we are looking for a Marketing Manager for our headquarters in Madrid.
The Marketing Manager will be instrumental in scaling Nextail as we continue to build the next generation retail technology company, backed by $12M in venture capital funding to date from leading venture capital investors.
The new team member will be part of the Growth team, working on different initiatives for generating commercial traction & business opportunities internationally, interacting with multiple internal and external parties.
In particular, you will be responsible for:
Defining the B2B international marketing strategy in line with company objectives, monitoring the marketing budget and managing the execution for all markets.
Analysing and reporting; measuring the effectiveness of all online and offline activity in relation to marketing KPIs (conversion rate, cost per lead, etc.), using Google Analytics and other relevant tools to improve over time. Reporting on ROI.
Digital channel management; updating website on CMS (Wordpress) considering SEO, testing social campaigns (primarily on LinkedIn and Facebook), establishing email marketing strategy for inbound lead generation process etc.
Events management; leading Nextail’s presence at industry conferences (exhibition stands) and hosting our own events.
Brand development, positioning and external communication strategy; working closely with the Content Marketer to optimise copy for website (SEO) and review company messaging.
Agency management; maintaining good relationships with external suppliers (PR agencies, website agencies, freelancers etc. depending on project needs).
Coordinating with internal functions such as design, sales, data science, HR, for new initiatives (creation of printed marketing material, local events, content purpose, internal communications).
Experience in B2B marketing, minimum 4 years, with some team management/leadership background. Ideally within the tech industry (preferably retail tech).
Strong analytical skills and a data driven mindset.
Experience in digital marketing with working knowledge of Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other marketing tools.
Both strategic and highly creative to think outside the box, with a real passion for retail tech.
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team player, extremely driven with a can-do attitude.
Ideally educated to degree level, or/and with relevant marketing, communications qualifications.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
