We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to help us to revolutionize the retail sector.

At Nextail, you will be part of a cross-functional and autonomous team where you will lead the frontend development of the new modules of our Product. You will collaborate with Product and Design people to build the best user experience for our customers.

We love developers with a strong Product and Agile mindset who values good technical practices. Developers who are eager to learn new things and face new challenges of usability and scalability. Developers who enjoy staying close to Production, doing continuous deployment with special care on quality.

We are a remote company, but you can also work in Madrid offices. At the moment, we are only seeking candidates in Europe (UTC+02:00 or similar).

  • Beatriz Domínguez (Head of People & Process Engineering): At the age of 6 she touched her first computer and since then she hasn't been able to be separated from them. She started working in the world of technology as a developer more than 13 years ago. Passionate about continuous improvement, in the last years she has been working with teams of all kinds and worrying about their growth and effectiveness. What she enjoys most about her job is helping people to be successful.

  • Miguel Garcia Lorenzo (Head of Engineering): With more than 10 years of experience leading technical teams in high-performance and real-time environments. He has worked in companies like Inditex, Oracle, among others. He is a believer in work based on three fundamental principles: team, architecture and automation. He enjoys sharing his knowledge through articles and conferences.

  • Rosa Ferrando (Software Developer): She has a ton of experience in the IT sector and recently switched careers to be a developer. She specializes in the data integration layer and is one of the few people able to teach you about Hexagonal Architecture and Tennis... at the same time!

  • Abilio Almeida Eiroa (Software Developer): With 12 years of experience in front-end development, he likes to promote an inclusive work environment while helping to achieve company goals by mentoring and empowering people. He also likes to promote and ensure development practices for good product maintenance.

Job requirements

The requirements and valued skills for this job are:

  • Large background as a Frontend Developer building complex products and working as a part of a cross-functional team

  • Solid experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, and any modern Frontend framework as Angular, React, or Vue (here at Nextail we currently work with Angular)

  • Experience with testing, clean code, and architecture in Frontend

  • Being able to accomplish some minor backend tasks

  • Experience building and maintaining design systems

  • Being a team player with strong skills of collaboration and initiative

  • Proficiency in English
